WHO WE ARE
The Fiji Master Builders Association (FMBA) is a not-for-profit industry association made up of professional builders, sub-contractors, suppliers as well as manufacturers of building materials.
Established in 1961, we represent the collaborative voice of the building sector in Fiji and also operate as a reliable conduit between the local industry, and Government. Over the last 56 years, the FMBA has been a constant and reliable guide allowing many investors, developers, and even Governments, to help literally build Fiji’s economy to what it is today.
As an industry body, we are also well aware of various individuals seeking a fair deal or expert advice on any construction related work in Fiji. Our members, small and big, are more than happy to help where they can in making sure that when someone choses to make their single largest investment decision, it is a decision they will not regret later.
As a responsible and law abiding entity, the FMBA is here to help through the exemplary services of its Executives led by President Vijay Raghwan and Vice President Steven Bobby Chand as well as Secretary/Treasurer Vijay Naidu.
WHAT WE DO
The FMBA was established to give a credible voice for registered building contractors and sub-contractors as well as suppliers and product manufacturers in Fiji.
Over the years we have worked very closely with all relevant industrystakeholders and institutions. The FMBA has a very high standard of ethics that are adhered to by all our members and we are also an original
member of the Construction Industry Council of Fiji.
The members of FMBA try to meet at least once a month either in Suva or in the Western division to discuss all relevant industry matters.
The FMBA also has an independent Secretary, Vijay Naidu, tasked with updating the membership with minutes.
Executive meetings as well as any of other relevant information from comments on tenders right up to construction news in general.
All applications to join the FMBA is carefully scrutinized and vetted. Our goal for the future is to grow the membership Fiji wide and beyond.
